Invalid Nightmares Vol.1: The Hive Mind

The distant buzzing from far off in the fields begins growing louder but you swear that you'd been walking away from the sound. Suddenly a confused bee collides with the side of your head and begins biting at you as it prepares itself to go for the sting. You swat it away and turn just in time to see that the swarm has come to collect you in the name of expanding their roving hive. Scream all you want but their buzzing swiftly buries that hopeless noise as they work their way down your throat and eat through your eyes. But you find as the buzzing infests your brain to the core that you don't really mind that much. After all what good drone wouldn't lay down their life for the glory of their queen? 

And thus another victim has been claimed by the Hive Mind.

This set of 4 battler sprites are the first in what I hope to be a large line of adorable (and affordable) monster sprites that I wish to unleash upon the world in hopes of helping game makers of all kinds instill some gnarly nightmare fuel into their players' minds.
